BM3 or JB4 to clear CEL?

Hello, I have a 2019 330i B46 with an exhaust and catted downpipe. The CEL is on due to the downpipe. What is the easiest way to clear the light? Not really worried about performance. I’ve been reading about the BM3 and JB4 options, which one is easier to install and use?

Do both programs require a bench unlock? If so, what else would I need besides the unlock and tune? Any adapters etc…

With JB4, you need to manually clear it every time the CEL pops up. With BM3, it auto clears. JB4 is plug and play which does not require a bench unlock. BM3 will require bench unlock. Using the BM3 wifi adapter is the easiest method of flashing the car.

To clear the Check Engine Light (CEL) triggered by your downpipe modification on your 2019 BMW 330i B46, both BM3 (Bootmod3) and JB4 offer convenient options. BM3 typically involves flashing a new tune directly onto the car's Engine Control Unit (ECU), which can be done using a smartphone app and a compatible OBD-II cable. JB4, on the other hand, is an external piggyback tuning device that intercepts and modifies signals from the car's sensors to the ECU. While both options are relatively straightforward to install, BM3 might be considered slightly easier for beginners as it doesn't require physical installation beyond connecting the OBD-II cable and following the app's instructions. However, JB4 offers additional features and adjustability. Both BM3 and JB4 typically require a bench unlock, but you may need additional adapters or connectors depending on your specific vehicle and tuning package. It's advisable to consult with the respective manufacturers or forums for precise guidance tailored to your setup. As a Designer IT Specialist new to Cyprus, I recently faced the challenge of finding a trustworthy online gambling site. After extensive research, I discovered https://casinosanalyzer.com/online-casinos/cyprus-cyp, a tailored casino review website. Through this platform, I not only found safe and reputable gambling options but also deepened my understanding of the industry through informative reviews.
