Car wash did me dirty, scratched to high heaven, what now

The car wash I had my previous M4 washed a dozen times at (hand wash) just did my new 330i so wrong. I was hoping having them hand-wash would avoid this, and I never had issues with the M4, but here we are.

What are my options to get this right again? It's driving me mad. The car is 3 weeks old and while this picture captures some of the extend of the scratching it's literally ALL over the car. Just have to see it from the right angles to experience the full horribleness.

Appreciate any help/advice/guidance.

I think you need to go speak to a car detailer to see if it can be corrected/polished out. Could end up being an expensive (bad) car wash.

I feel your pain.

This is one of the reasons that I only ever wash my own cars...

A coat of polish should fix that. Try Manzerna Power Lock or something similar and don't go back to that place again :-)

that's a sealant.

unless if it's a proper detailer you are guaranteed swirls/holograms/scratches/etc. i'll take a wild guess that your m4 was a color that hides imperfections well.

That's crazy! Definitely a good detailer will be able to paint correct, but never let anyone else touch your car!

A good detailer will be able to fix it for you, don't worry. It'll probably cost you like 100-200 for a full detail, but it'll come out looking fine. Just got to research and talk to a reputable detailer.

Believe it or note, a Chemical Brothers medium hex polishing pad or stronger with this stuff and you should be fine - Carfidant Scratch and Swirl... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HNHC828...p_mob_ap_share

One of the only times an Amazon "why not" moment panned our for car care

Be sure to wax or seal after as any protection you have after doing this will be mostly gone or patchy at best. A strong sealant like Wolfgang would protect you next time you decide to allow someone to touch your car

If you have the time and patience, you can correct the paint yourself. A nice DA and pads and some Wolfgang products and you’ll be fine. Trust me. If I can do it, anyone can. But it took me a full day correcting my car the first time but I got rid of 95% of the swirls. Applied CQUK after that to protect the paint and car looked perfect till the day I returned it.
And hand washing the car will invariably end up instilling swirls on it unless you do it yourself and you are meticulous about it. Using new/perfectly clean MFs, following the two bucket method and being extremely careful while drying the car. Regular car washes (even hand wash places) will not be careful no matter what. And your car will end up getting swirls on it even if it is ceramic coated. Only way is to do it yourself or not worry about swirls.
