After a hard test to Germany from Sweden

Total 721 km of driving almost 80-90% Highway and speeds of 140-200 km/h
and start with 80% of battery, the car take 0.68 liters. And almost 90 km in electric , eco pro mode.

Its easy to drive it on 0.60-0.65 liters if you drive 120-130 km/h long turns same speed.

The car was very efficency when i drive in Berlin 60-70 km/h same speed behind cars and good German asfalt. 14.4 kwh/100km 225-45-18 winter tires the new nokian Wr snowproof.

That's quite impressive! How do you do that?
I manage about 45 km a charge on my daily commute right now. Pretty pleased by this but hoping to get more out of it in the spring/summer.

Have only tried eco pro so far when iam commuting and with the gps on my destination. Going to try regular hybrid today.

Garage List
2019 G20 330e  [0.00]
This morning a full charge showed as low as 35km range, with temperatures around 0*C. Managed to get around 45 km. Hoping they won't drop too steep when temperature goes down any further.

I used to get about 47km before it got colder and my commute is 46km, down to about 43km now and batt control for 3km; that's electric mode only.
The engine breakin period is supposed to be 2000 km but since it only ran for like 200km I'm not sure the 2000km do count

I have been driving my 330e in my daily commute which is around 25km.
I am charging almost daily and i am getting around 30km on eletric alone per charge. That equals to around 40kWh/100km which i find too much for this car.
This is city driving and a little motorway never exceeding 80km/h.
I dont know how some guys are getting almost 2x this...

What more are you driving in? Electric mode seems to use more energy due to more power being available.

Hybrid Eco Pro seems to be the most economical.

I have been using Hybrid mode.
I only drove for 600km (total) until now, 550km in eletric mode.

Maybe the battery needs more run in ? Dont know if that makes sense.
Its not cold in PT as some have argued that it makes a difference. I keep the car in the garage, probably around 17ºC this time of the year.

Tha maximum i was able to squeeze out of it was around 36km but that was EXTRA carefully, old lady style, not pratical.

I realy find it odd how some people can get more than 50km !

It is now showing : 77% / 22km autonomy !!

Well a few things, car is charged to 100% every night, I have electric individual configured for 100% efficiency, rarely use A/C or heat, keep it at max 100kmph on the motorway (which I find it impossible to go over thanks to traffic anyway), I don't use hybrid since it forces the engine on over 80kmph when it is not needed, probably way more factors like incline of the roads, start-stop-traffic, temperature, etc

Have to ask what sort of fuel mileage did you get in previous cars, in the same conditions? That should give an idea of what sort of mileage you'd expect on electric only, in a PHEV. Poor consumption with ICE, due to city driving, poor mileage with an EV.

How do you find the car in general - especially ride comfort? What suspension are you on and what size wheels?

Suspension is whatever is the default on the Sport+ package, with the 19" wheels and is softer than the F30.
Drives and handles way better than my last F30 330e, sticks to the ground at speed in bends too, the F30 just wanted to go straight, almost drove through a roundabout when I picked that one up a few years ago

@sofcraft somfing is wrong there, have you Ac on? Fan speed? how fast do you drive? the car go good after 60 km/h there the car change gear and you will see the consumption go down alot.. but stay on max 80 km/h or it is bye bye
I charge mine every night in fastcharger in a warm garage 17ºC -18ºC.
In the morning i preeheat the car with the app 22ºC in car 25-30 min before i drive to the job the car in perfect hot and battery is warm to, i dont have the problem if its 5ºC outside. My fan is on minimum, and no AC on, now in winter.
I drive easy 45 km in the mornings. My roads to the jobb is higest 80 km/h
i drive 70-80 km/h on the roads.
Today i was going to my parents and i have tealwind, dry roads and its 70 km/h road there i have 38 km to them.. if i shud drive more today i shud make record today easy i shud come 58-60 today the car was on 16.2 kwh.

16.2kWh/100km at 6C seems pretty good! By ultimate speed you mean your average speed was 71-73km/h or that was max speed?

Does the car preheat affect significantly the battery consumption?

Well my normal commute is city driving. So traffic , a lot of red lights and jams. In 30% of the route i use a freeway where i go 70-80 km/h, but this is only for 6km. Then city again cruising at 10km/h and stopping a lot. Total time driving in the morning is 1h, to make around 11km. I use AC yes.

How do you turn off the AC without fogging up the windows inside? I turn the fans off completely but have trouble that the side windows fog up after a couple of minutes and then I have to turn it on again because I can't see anything.

I preheat it so it's warm inside the cabin before takeoff (22 celsius).

@Zelkan i have my ac of now in 2 months , and alweys have my fan on the lowest =no fog!! or it will be foggy, the 22 celsius is good , i have mine in 20-21 when i drive.
@safcraft that kind of driving is not so good for the batteri range.. turn the ac of you will get another 3-4 extra kilometers and fan on stage 1.

I must ask, when you say you use pre-heating the car 30min before the drive start, we are talking about the temperature inside the car right ? What does that have to do with the temperature on the battery ?
And even so, doesnt that contradict the purpose of energy savings ? When you pre-heat the car for 30min, you are using electricity . How much ? Did you measure?
