Should I switch from a 2019 330i to a 2020 330e?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I have a 330i M Sport, 2019 model 2020, and I’m very happy with the car. However, the BMW dealer where I bought my car is offering me a sweet deal to get a 330e M Sport 2020 model 2020. I’m considering it, but I would like to hear from you what I will loose changing from the 330i to the 330e. Dealer told me the 330e does not have M suspension, but it has M brakes, M steering wheel and so on. Will the M suspension be very missed? Thanks! |

Just out of curiosity. What kinda deal are they giving you? Unless they make money, idk how they can give anyone a nice deal without the buyer losing money somehow.
And the base suspension is really nice. I’ve read multiple reviews where people praise the base suspension and prefer that over adaptive or M sport, saying the other two are stiff. I drove an M340i with the m suspension and it was stiff compared to my car. And for daily driving and stuff, the base suspension handles pretty damn well too. Unless you regularly track your car or treat public roads like a race track, I don’t think you’ll miss the upgraded suspension.

Best deal is to keep ur car and save that money. Its not financially wise to change ur car in like a year? Ur sales advisor really know how to dig money from their customers.

Does the M Sport 330e not have the M Sport suspension? I'm thinking of ordering a 330e with the M Sport package at some point, and I would normally spec the adaptive suspension because the M Sport suspension can be quite hard, but if the 330e doesn't have the M Sport suspension, should I even bother with the adaptive suspension?

The adaptive M suspension is an option, it is not the standard for the 330e. While I would want the suspension, before I told the OP to save his money I would want to know how good a deal the dealership is offering.

The 330i is a real nice car. When you’re bored of it, get a JB4 or a flash tune. It’s like getting a new car all over again

If you think about the economics, it doesn't make any sense that a dealership would do this other than to screw you. Dealerships that do this are pretty scummy. |
