Questions on 2024 M340 orders
I've decided i'm in the market for a new M340
It looks like at this point I can either: 1: Order a 2024 model 2: Find a 2023 model already on the lot I can settle for and hope I get a better deal. Before I pull the trigger I thought I'd attempt to spur a discussion here now that the 2024 updated ordering/pricing guides are out. - Do we know if the 2023 incentives will apply to 2024? USAA, Ect... - Should I expect any extra incentives for being a 2024 "early bird" - Do we have a firm date on when they begin accepting orders? Or are they already accepting orders and the website just isn't updated. - Can I reasonably expect to get anything off MSRP with either model in the current market? Any insight is appreciated. |

M340i are never in stock unless used, even those are rare. I shopped across many dealers. It was we sell at MSRP for some time. Then MSRP - discount on order car was given. This ranged from $1000 to the highest I found at -$3000. At $3000 captured one allocation! In summary, not sure what others are getting but discounts are not that common since supply remains tight. You may be able to secure some discount off high volume dealer. Might try 2023, no diff in 2024 and you might get adaptive suspension +$550 on 23 but an up charge of $2400 since it’s only part of combined with cooling brake pkg Goodluck.

I’ve seen a couple posts saying the adaptive suspension is no longer a standalone option on the ‘24s but I was just at the dealer on Thursday to spec a 24 M340i and the adaptive suspension is still listed as a standalone option on their most recent 2024 ordering/pricing guide. So, you don’t have to select the cooling package.

We talked numbers but I didn’t bring up any sort of possible discount. I haven’t committed to the car yet as the rates suck so I’d rather stack more cash for a far larger down payment. The pricing they gave me was strickly MSRP.

My sister took delivery of her 330i that she ordered back on 03/29/23 today, hurray! I spoke to the CA as I will be ordering a M340i about November/December for a March delivery. I asked him about the adaptive suspension ( he knew what I was going to ask even before I got the full sentence out ). He said as of today the M340i the adaptive suspension is a bundle with the cooling package and you cannot buy the adaptive suspension as an individual option. He said BMW may change it as a stand alone option, but he cannot predict the future.

The dealer said that because I was pushing right up against the ‘24 MY and they weren’t making anymore ‘23s that weren’t already ordered, it would be a ‘24MY allocation.
