So after being stuck in Quality Control for 90+ days,my SA called yesterday to tell me the car has now been moved to "awaiting carrier assignment". When I checked the status myself today,it has now been changed to "Dispatched from Factory".

I won't get my hopes up to high,I'd be very impressed if the car is sitting in our driveway by Mothers Day

To follow up, PCD was quickly scheduled after the stop sales cleared. The email my advisor received said scheduling was based on production number, so maybe they're prioritizing those folks with builds that have been pending awhile? Either way I'm fortunate that I'll get to use October's MF, as my rate/credit hold is good for 120 days. I did lose $250 on the deal due to PenFed no longer being a thing, but whatever.

Heading to Greer on the 17th for PCD on the 18th. Pumped!!

My status went from QC to Dispatched from Factory today too. Keep me posted when you find out what ship you're on and i'll do the same. Surely it will be the same ship...

Checked a few minutes ago and the car is "at the port". Still skeptical after all these months of waiting but I'll stay positive,if not for me for my wife,as it's her vehicle and she's enjoying ripping around town in my X3MC way too much! lol

Have no idea how to find out what cargo ship the car is on,so you'll have to send me a PM or let me know how that works

Email or call the genius line and they can tell you the ship name.

Genius wouldn't tell me my ship name, maybe it was just the rep I had but they were adamant that they couldn't give me that information. I called my CA at the dealership and he looked it up and gave it to me in 2 minutes so either one of those routes should get you what you need.

I think she is a beaut.
I was also impressed with my Dealer. They didn't screw me over with all the changes in Lease rates that have happened over the last 5 months.

Ah man, that just guts me reading all this. My dealer said his Regional rep told him that my car was stuck in QC (for 3 months) because they were going to do the RAM at the factory because they didn't want to retrofit at VPC anymore, which I didn't really believe.

My car left the factory and is at the port waiting for a carrier and still needs to be retrofitted. Looks like it could be 6+ months from order to delivery for me.

My car made it to the port today, checked my vin on mdecoder and don’t see any recalls or deletions other than the passenger lumbar, does that mean I’m in the clear? It looks like others that finished recently have the RAM recall. My car is a M440ix coupe. It sailed right through assembly and QC with no delays, just seems a bit too easy given some of the posts I’ve read

Ordered November 1, delivered February 9. Yes, I feel guilty given how long some people have waited (and still are). I had plenty of patience with respect to production (if it had run longer, that would have been fine), but once it was in Brunswick (and being fairly certain there were no stop sales), I got pretty angsty and impatient

We love the car so far. I will say I am glad I got HK, because it is merely acceptable. I can't imagine having only the "Hi Fi." As the speakers break in, hoping it improves, but it will do.

I keep looking at the scant few pics, as I haven't seen the red in person. I have one at the Baltimore port and it looks so different in various pics/lighting.
