50 more HP and 200 NM more...pretty sure its faster then a stock M340i.

Pretty sweet didn't know you could make those numbers with 330e. Only drawback is not having x drive. Whats the 0-60 and fuel economy numbers? How does it sound since the exhaust isn't connected? Is it straight pipe? Amazing you can do this with just software. The electric motors must be adding 100 horsepower to 300 horsepower tune, maybe it's going to conventional cycle from Atkins cycle?

Looks awesome!

My question is, why not just buy the M340 from the start? Better sounding, faster, and probably for less $ than all the mods done to this vehicle.

Someone else asked the exact same question you asked in the previous page and he’s answered it there.

Just for clarification. You know that the m performance front splitter is not allowed by BMW on the 330e, because of thermal problems regarding the electric drive terrain?

Wow how much torque are you pushing? And what was the stage 2 mods you had done?

I'm running 360+ bhp - 630+ nm on a stage 1 and I rip through 340i's .

Thanks again for the purchase of the brakes.

If anyone needs 374mm or 395mm brake upgrades, let me know!

I'm sure it's quick to 60 but stock 340's will eat this up after that.

I just saw a video posted on here with an M340 and JB4 running 3.05 0-60mph. There's others who are running mid 3's no prob

I didn't spend much money, inner diffuser and tips 290€, frontgrill and decal its a gift from my dealer ;-), brakes painted red
Here in Belgium the price difference is around the 15000€ and we don't have to pay any taxes on the 330e and on a 340i a lot.
The boost from 0 to.. is huge ,you don't get that at a 340i, 330e with tune is faster.
Also better gas mileage. The m340i has x drive though and will launch more consistently and certain advantages in cornering particularly in bad weather. Now I'm thinking of picking up a used F30 330e as they have depreciated a lot and doing this to one.

Impressive numbers

I just wish BMW had made an M345e Touring (like the X5 45e and upcoming 545e) then we really could have had the best of all worlds with 6cyl Xdrive and electric town driving without being a tank

There was the active hybrid 3 a few years ago with an N55 and electric motor.

This is a plug in hybrid with decent performance. No range anxiety and use no gas for short commutes.

I don't know about this one...... it's one thing tuning the B58 but after working on these (B48) I would never tune that engine let alone that much. Can't handle it long term. Also what power is it putting out from 1-10% battery because that number is going to be different vs when it has full battery.

Yup. What I don’t understand is how these things aren’t faster than an M340i when it supposedly has more power and torque compared to a stock M340i.

I’m curious about the numbers when battery isn’t in play too.

Can we just agree to cut and paste the 'why would you tune a 330e when you could just buy an M340i?' part once the M3/M4 comes out and all of the tuned M340i folks pipe up? Asking for a friend.

Civics and integras back in the day were tuned to over 1000 HP but they were at most stock bottom end not 100 percent stock with just software tune.
