it's amazing how the front is so ugly that it still ruins the look of the whole car to me. the rest of the body looks good lowered at this height, but man, the G20 is the most butterface bimmer i've ever seen

The springs are equal drop front and rear, so your issue is with factory design too.

Quite liking the G20 with H&Rs - they always seem to hit the sweet spot for any generation of lowered 3 series!
E30 are the best looking 3 series Period.

From 60mph - 100mph , the diesel pulls effortlessly, making highway driving very calm and smooth. I commute 70 miles a day on the highway so it is ideal for me. Not to mention the 50 mpg i regularly average.

+1, I always liked Diesels, they are great on gas and still have a good amount of torque and pull. I think while it may not be the engine I would get in a 3 series (although the 335d was a pretty fast and fun diesel) It would be perfect in say an X5, where the gas milage could greatly improve without sacrificing the torque needed to pull the 2 ton SUV. Sadly, because of Dieselgate, diesels are no longer seen as practical or sensable, and because of that, the market is gone.

One of my friends has a Golf SportsWagen diesel, and he refuses to sell it or trade it to VW as he loves it some much, diesel really gives those little compact cars a good helping of torque while still keeping them efficient.

Another example of wheels and a drop that can't save the styling of this turd.

Hope that the M3 does something with this mess of styling, and soon.

If your holding out for M3 styling, you likely won't be pleased. The M3 is never drastically changed from the normal 3, just usually grills and fenders, it will likely still have all the things you hate about the current 3 just with a bigger grill and larger wheel arches.

I personally really like the modern look of the new 3 series, but to each their own.

I have an F80 M3, and it is drastically different from any F30 styling, except the trunk lid and the four doors. You may be talking about the E36 M3.

The point is... this G20 style is missing something that no wheels or drop can fix. Something that never happened before in any BMW, IMO.

Yes exactly right.

Another huge incentive for me is that i have not visited a gas station in about 4-5 years. I sell diesel for a living to logistic companies so i get it from the refineries as cheap as possible so i just fill up my own car from my fleet trucks.

Agreed - I love my 320d daily. Sure the engine note sounds like a tractor but the blend of frugality and performance is good & it still blows me away that I only fuel up once every 3 weeks.

I have my e30 for when I get tired of that and just want a bit of smooth 6 cylinder action

Once the G21 comes out I'll head to the dealer for a look.
