Issues adding packages to a RWD M340i with the US Configurator
For the last three weeks I have been trying to configure a RWD M340i, but it wont let me add the Driving Assistance Package nor the Driving Assistance Professional. It works fine for the M340i xDrive.
I have tried Internet Explorer, Chrome, Edge, etc. from different notebooks and also from an iPad. It appears there is something wrong with that configurator. |

Not sure 🤔 . I had no issues but I ordered a AWD xdrive m340i. Perhaps talk to a dealer, maybe a availability issue? But that sounds odd. I know that various models sometimes have option restrictions

I believe it is due to bugs in the new configurator. You should be able to order a car with those options still

I've noticed the same problem. It's been like this for the RWD M340i since they moved the configurator to the new version.

I also want an M340i with Driving Assistance Professional, or what you might call "Autopilot-lite". I can put every other option on the car, but not this one. I don't really want to call dealer, or I will have someone calling me night and day.

You can do it if you configure the 340 Xdrive, then deduct the $2k delta in price with the RWD

Thanx Guys. The Xdrive broke the code, but this minor xxxxup that hasn't been fixed in however many weeks doesn't speak well about BMW's ability to fix other, more important electronic bugs in the cars.

I agree. Has me worried about what I might be receiving next month, and their ability to remedy issues. I get that it is a great car to drive, when it all works... If we don't get what we pay for, what is the point of buying one? Just crossing my fingers that by the time mine arrives, they will have it sorted out. My faith in that wanes daily.
