That's interesting. I don't think I'd buy another BMW.

I'm also surprised that Porsche is so low, because their customer satisfaction rating is so high.

hmmmmm......Lexus is #3....they certainly won't see another lease from us - our ES350 has been a borderline lemon...yes, I understand that mechanical things break, especially on first year builds....

However, 30,000 miles later, and Toyota still can't make my tranny stop slipping from 3rd to 4th....steering column squeeks, rattles galore.....sure glad it goes back to mother Toyota in a short 5 months

I'm very surprised that Porsche, Audi, Infiniti and Acura are so low

I'm suprised that Ford is right behind BMW.

This poll isnt really for customer satisfaction. Read the fine print under the graph. It just says that lets say 58.8% of BMW owners by another BMW as their next car.

It's helpful to read the fine print.. "The percentage of customers who replaced a vehicle previously purchased new and aquired a new vehicle of the same make".

What would be interesting to see is where first-time new manufacture purchases came from; i.e., Ford to BMW. Are people navigating away from one brand to another in particular?

Personally, i expect my next car to be a 5 series; M edition if i'm lucky enough

Agreed, that would be more interesting data. What would be really interesting is to have it broken down by model and view that data over time.
