Ordered in feb for a July build slot, arrived at dealer 7/8 been on stop sale since 15/8

Mine was ordered 13th Feb, build slot in July.
Was told 23rd July it was at the port in Germany and expected in the following week.
Arrived at dealer 1st week in August and planned for delivery to me 13th.
Notified 11th of recall and waiting since then!

I have just found this assembly line video of the fitting of the high voltage battery into a 330e.
I can’t see any welds on the battery assembly and if it has to be changed it does not look like a simple job to me.

Well he’s certainly not looking for any faulty welds so he is certainly in the frame.

Just checked mine on the bmw recall site and no change, so assuming no news.

Mine is still showing the recalls and no updates from either the dealer or the lease company so far.

I just got information that my 330e G21 is ready to be picked up on Wednesday.
The recall was cleared on Friday. The service/check was done in the harbor.

In the same boat. 330e delivered to the dealer at the beginning of Aug but dealership and Lex unable to provide a delivery date at present. At least it will now be a 70 plate.

Losing the will to live. Ordered mid Jan and still getting the 2 error messages on the BMW website.

So so slow.

Mine has a provisional date of the 18th September but after exchanging a few emails this is not based on my car being scheduled to be tested just a pure guess from the lease company!

Had something similar from my Lease company, following sending a survey asking whether I was happy with the “Customer experience” of my recent vehicle delivery!

They clearly haven’t got a clue and then claimed “BMW have placed a hold on all BMW deliveries across all dealers and they have not been advised the cause of this“

I will try the dealer again this afternoon and see if I can get any sense out of them.

I’m not hopeful!

I've had a very similar experience. My fleet hire company SG Fleet have been very slow at coming back with any info and the dealership hasn't been much better. I'm getting very close to telling them to forget it and ordering a C-Class PHEV instead
