330e M wheels & suspension
I drive a 330i m sport, and regularly see 330e’s out and about in identical colour and spec, but there appears to be something different when I look at the wheels and arches. Like the wheels are smaller or it’s riding higher. Is the 330e M on standard 18’s, with the usual m-sport suspension setup?

The 330e must have the standard se setup as they ride a bit higher. I must be getting old but I do like a slightly softer ride now. The Audi S line and to a lesser extent, the M-sport ride is too crash for today’s pothole ridden roads.

I think that’s correct, the e uses standard suspension. I’d swap the order of Audi S line and BMW though, M-Sport suspension is firmer in my opinion, my current Audi on S-Line suspension is fairly compliant. I did consider deleting M-Sport suspension on my 330i order but decided to stick with it as I prefer the lower stance.

That explains it then, I knew there was something different but couldn’t put my finger on it. The M suspension is definitely firm so if comfort is important then standard is a good choice.

I’ve got a 330e M Sport Touring on order. It had to have 19” run flats (company rules - have a spare or have run flats) so I’m happy to hear it doesn’t have the M sport suspension. I was worried it might be a bit harsh.

Mine is on 19's with run-flats with adaptive M-sport suspension. I'd say the ride is only marginally better than my mates on 18's with the normal M-sport suspension, but it's less crashy over bumps and bad surfaces.

That's how the 330e comes., even in M Sport. I'm not even sure there is an option to have M Sport suspension from factory. There are now a few companies that do lowering springs specific to the 330e.

The M Sport Pro package comprises 19" light alloy Double-spoke style 791 M wheels, Bicolour Jet Black with run-flat tyres, Adaptive M Suspension, Sun Protection Glass, M Seat Belts, Extended High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim and M Rear Spoiler. ... or is that something different? Not going to even try to pretend I understand BMW's packages fully. The brochure states the following as standard fit on an M Sport: SAFETY & TECHNOLOGY
... however not sure whether to believe anything in the brochure - as that suggests the rear brake lights are "dynamic" from SE upwards, but apparently thats not the case.

M Sport Vanilla version gets you M Sport suspension which is passive and harder than non-M Sport M Sport Pro Give you Adaptive Suspension (Active and Variable depending on conditions of each wheel) I deleted M Sport Suspension (passive) off my F10 as I prefer a softer ride... I could tell the difference compared to the test car And I added Variable/Adaptive Suspension to my G30 M Sport, and it is great So you are right, the "Pro" Package adds Adaptive Suspension to the G20 (I have added it to mine) M Sport Vanilla suspension also denoted lowered suspension normally, I think on the G20 too... if you have the Adaptive Suspension it is not lowered And last tip if you have "Pro" you don't have to delete M Sport passive suspension, it is effectively replaced by the Adaptive setup My 10c worth

Not true for the 330e though. Which is what this thread refers to.

So, the 330e M Sport comes with standard suspension? (more comfort but higher ride height than M Sport Suspension) And the M Sport Pro package upgrades that to Adaptive M suspension?

I had the G20 330e Sedan and now I have the G21 330e, and the info in the pictures explain how the M-suspension is set for this car.
In both cars I've had the Adaptive M suspension with 18's and the ride is good in comfort mode. In the G21 is like 30% softer in comfort mode than in the G20 though, much nicer if you ask me. You can always make the suspension stiffer by switching to Sport anyway.

Ah ok, the brochure I have is dated Nov20 downloaded from BMW UK site. The one that I can see that information in seems to reference models not available here.
Combine the two and its a pretty useful resource. Thanks
