Best current PCP deals

Anyone aware of any current PCP deals?

I already have a G20 saloon but due to a new family member (dog) looking at a touring.

I would like 330i M Sport Pro - Dravit Grey - Tech Plus Pack

PCP over 36 months with 15k miles per year.

Anyone able to recommend any deals for this or know what I should be aiming to pay. Looking at £3.5 k deposit.

Have you considered leasing? Although it's not as flexible as PCP, there are some good deals to be had.

Have a look at leasing.com to see what's available. I'm not in anyway affiliated. I used it recently to find a good deal, then went to my preferred broker, who managed to beat the lowest price.

You can still factory order, but the best deals are on pre-existing vehicles.

I'm taking an 'in stock' 330i M Sport (saloon) for the same price as a factory build 318i!

I've looked at 2nd hand but they're actually more expensive than buying new.

Best so far is £610 a month over 36 / 15,000 pa

The best finance deals are always against new.

Yeah it's often a false economy buying used on PCP, as the APR is higher and you can get big discounts on new list prices.

Any reason why you want to only do 36 month PCP if going new?

Just purely the fact that I like to change cars every 3 years. Normally bored by year 4

Just bear in mind, the APR on used isn't set in stone, everything is negotiable.

On a 4 year PCP your point of voluntary termination is around 33/34 months, so you're fine and you'll save quite a bit on your monthlies.

Very true, but still won't be as good as new car rates. They do often do offers though - you can get a used 7 or 8 series at the min at 2.9%

Reckon you could get a PCH deal for £425ish. I couldn’t get A PCP under £580 for my 330e M sport + - went for a PCH Deal for 425pm on 6+35 instead. Not sure what others pay but was happy with the deal.

not an expert on any of this. What's PCH? and what is meant by 6+35? Assuming the 35 is monthly payments, but what's the 6? Thanks.

PCH is personal contact hire in other words, a lease. The 6+35 means a deposit/up-front payment of 6 payments followed by 35 payments. In the case above a payment of £2,550 and then 35 months at £425. My G21 330i with SPG was £415 on 3+47, so a four year lease in my case. I keep my car for four years, his is for three.

And that's through BMW Finance, or a third party company? And you get option to purchase at the end?

Does sound a good deal. Surprised that covers the depreciation.

I have a 330i M Sport saloon arriving soon. The only item above the standard spec is sun protection glass.

On a 9+47 basis and 8k miles/year, I’ll be paying £335/month. The agreement is with BMW FS.

Like SG mine is BMW (Alphabet) and is for 10000 miles pa. I didn’t want a big up-front payment hence 3+47. At the end there’s no official option to buy but can be negotiated- I bought one before at the end for father in law.
Basically paying £21k to rent the car for 4 years and RFL is included.

Problem with PCH is you're locked in for the full term, with severe termination payments if you want out early.

Yes the cost of the contract is generally cheaper than PCP, but mostly it's only for in stock cars that are pretty much standard spec. Which of course is fine if that's all you want, but if you want to specify options then it's PCP that generally offers the best deals.

I explored both at length before getting my new car and PCP was the better option.

The above is true in that there is much less flexibility. I don’t see any reason about stock cars or limited options- my last three leases were all factory orders to my spec. It’s less flexible but cheaper. I guess there are better deals if a stock car is available that suits you but there is no reason why you can’t get a factory order.

Hi
Yep through bmw well alphabet
It helped that I placed the order in feb 20 and the list price of the car went from 41-45k between then and when The car was built in august but of course I signed at 41k. The invoice price after discount that they based the PCH on is £34100

I went to a few brokers before getting it direct from bmw. The 330i had some great deals compared to 330e with loads of cars available for delivery. 330e had a 7 month wait 😞

Will also agree that PCP Is far more flexible - I’ve had 5 PCPs on either 3 or 4 years and one I got out of after 6 months because I hated it - Merc C coupe!
I AM also used to buying out the car from the finance agreement as I never keep it till the end so figured a 3 year lease where the car will go back is better than a 4 year more expensive PCP where I pay to get out of it at 3 years.
