Looking very good! How's the ride feels? Any clunking noise etc.?
I have 20" rims on my 330e and Lowtec springs. Looks good but awful ride. I bet those lowtecs aren't the best ones... So I ordered Eibach springs and getting them next weeks. Let's see if Eibachs' are better. |

I'm using eibach and i got the factory m suspension so my ride was lowered only by 10mm for now. Eibach says i should expect 15 to 20mm lowering after the springs settle completely. I dont have any clunk or any sort of noises. However my tire was hitting the dish suspension in the fronts im not sure if this is the correct name for this part ill attach a pic. So i had to literally meddle with the "dish" from the shocks until it stopped touching the tire. Ride feels "softer" than factory with m suspension but damn is this car stiff. When at 120 140mph on the highway you really feel the sport suspension. I have no electronic dampering so im f*****d. Lol when riding in the city you feel everything in the steering wheel and the feet. In the highway its a bit better but my highways are reaaaaally bad here so its got this sporty feel to it. If i see an opportunity i might go for coilovers but will have to find a set that i can config a bit softer than what ive got now. Maybe bilsten t1 , or kw. But some people say they are designed for track so im not sure. Ive contacted bilsten and waiting for a reply about the best shocks or coilover for what i want which is to feel as less vibration possible at highway speeds. Here s a pic of what i was talking about

Cheech666 What are the specs on the wheel & tires you have? BMW has an OEM option for 20" wheels & tires, and it doesn't hit the spring perch like what you experienced.

Not yet, waiting for more wheel options (other than BMW offerings) to become available. I'm also researching fitments to make sure I don't run into issues like you did with the front wheels. As you know, the clearances in the front wheel wells are very tight.
For a 20" wheel, the BMW option is a 8x20 wheel, w/ 225/35-20 tire, which puts the diameter at around 26.2". The wheel offset for their option is ET27. At 245/35-20 front tire, the diameter will be 26.8" & you are lowered too. Try a 5mm-10mm spacer to see if it fixes the issue.

Thanks for the suggestion mate. The issue was bad luck of mine, just so you know, i had this problem on one side only... it was bad luck..but i've fixed it already by distancing the spring perch using tools, subtly of course without damaging it , as it was only the far tip of it. Actually i had this done on a pro shop
Anyways, have you looked at concaver wheels? Or niche? They have nice sets And dont worry about trying to keep the 26.2 diameter i've tested the car and it feels way better than stock. 225 and 255 rear are not enough for handling at high speeds at least not for me. I wanted better curve handling and more stickyness to the ground feeling after 180km/h , with the eibach and tires got just that. I went for the 29 and 38 offsets cause of the 8.5 and 9.5 rims, they dont stick out. However the niche misano seem to fit really well too.

See if that makes your ride less stiff...if it doesnt get you where you want id say go for that 19s spec you said , may as well give loads of comfort and look good. Do u have pics of those 19s? By the way are they OEM wheels?
