I had this a while ago, after my car updated. I had to delete my profile in the car and then reconnect it again (using the same profile) and all worked.

That message flashed up once.

Question. When you delete profile and reconnect it, do you then have to reprogramme everything (1-8 buttons, seat positions, etc etc)?

So I was away this week but got the following from BMW Connected.....

Please see below steps to ensure your my trips is activated inside your BMW:
'Car' - 'Settings' - 'General Settings' - 'Data Privacy' - 'My Trips' should be ticked.

I'd also recommend carrying out a Hard Reset and Service Update in your car.

Please switch the engine on and carry out a Hard Reset by firmly holding down the volume button/scroll for 35-40 seconds until the iDrive screen restarts.

Please use the below steps to carry out a Service Update in your car:

- In the main menu of your vehicle, select “Apps".
- Select “Installed apps".
- Select the "Option“ button on the iDrive Controller.
- Select “Update apps and services".
- It will say transferring data wait for it to complete
- If "Update apps and services" doesn't appear please press the options button after selecting Apps and not installed apps.

Please then allow 24 hours for this to complete in the backend system.

I'd of course tried all this a few times with no success.

Bit the bullet and deleted user profile and re-loaded. Seat position lost (but really not an issue), and the 1-8 buttons need re-jigging but overcame these 1st world problems....and destinations sent from MyBMW working now.

I actually presumed this might be the solution and maybe I just wanted to see what BMW Connected would suggest. Hardly a surprise that their solution didn't work at all.

Somehow or other I have ended up with 2 profiles,one of them shows destinations sent and the other does not.
Not really any issue but annoying that when I get in the car initially it offers me the wrong profile.
Think I will crops my fingers and delete it
