I think it really depends. In a HPDE day, at least here, we run about 5 20 min sessions. Given warm up and cool down laps, that is probably around 1.5 hours of full pace track time. You should be good for 10 track days at least? I agree that if you track often, you will not reach 30,000KM before a rebuild.

But as I said earlier, the deterioration is gradual. You can probably get by with less than optimal performance until it is too bad to bear with.

You're running KW V3s on your M3? Are you using the springs it came with? Looks like some people swap those out to run higher rates/linear springs.

You mean 15 clicks on maximum damping or like one click from softest?

I totally agree. It really is dependent on driving condition and how much the dampeners work in rough vs smooth terrain.
I used my Ohlins R/T on my Evo for roughly 18-20 track days before I definitively felt I was losing grip and the coilover was becoming detrimental to being driven hard. After 18-20 track days, it was still ok to drive on the street but no longer felt as planted during fast, hard cornering.

Thank you for the review, it was one of the few that led me to grabbing a set of these coilovers. Haven’t installed them yet but I can definitely attest to the build quality. Also, for anyone else wondering.. recommended service interval for regular street use is every 60,000 km per the Owner’s Manual
