Hey so less than a week ago I got csl yellow daylight running lights installed. Everything was well but after about 5 days I got this error message “Daytime and front parking light malfunction”. Went to check and the driver side lights were out. Has Anyone had this issue or know what to do. Do I have to replace the modules or the light itself? I tried plugging in the OEM module and it just flickered and went blank again

Have you removed and replaced both modules?
You should never use one module, because it gets grilled...
Or one broken and one working module.

Dude installed some third party DRL modules, what´s so ridiculous?
The car is the last thing to blame if the drivers plays around with third party parts...

So when one module is broken both daylights on that one side stops working right? I see a flicker on the inner one sometimes so I think the problem might be the outer one

Correct.
If one module starts flickering, you should replace that one soon...
Otherwise both modules will be grilled once the flickering one breaks.

They´re directly connected and not secured individually.

Yeah, you are right. Somehow, I missed that it was aftermarket. I wouldn’t go messing around with any electronics on this cars because I know how sensitive they are.

Same for me.
I´m driving them since January 2023 and had zero issues.

Just came back from the shop where I got them installed, they said the issue is with the lights itself and not the modules, do you think this is true? They only switch out the inner modules to see if it would work on the other side and it didn’t work but is there any possibility the outer modules (the hard to reach ones) are messed up and this is causing both lights to not work

As i mentioned before... You should never change one module without the other because if one is broken, it will always break the other one...
Your shop should know this :-)
