Scale miniature models of the M3 G80 and M4 G82

Hi all,

I am not sure if anyone is interested but I thought I would share with M3/M4 fans that for the first time in a long time, there will be multiple model manufacturers producing and releasing 1/18 scale models of the M3 G80 and M4 G82 in different forms.

Below are all of the images and details to date.

M3 Competition G80 in Alpine White by Top Speed:

Fans of smaller scales, here is a pre-production sample in 1/64 scale of the M3 G80 in Isle of Man Green.

Exterior is already starting to look dated.
Why does the white sedan have a mustache' (or whiskers), looks tacky.

I want this for the E60 and E39 M5. I have not been able to find those anywhere.

GT Spirit model looks good. Hopefully I'll be able to get Tanzanite.

I've been very impressed with the E90, F80 and F22 models by GT Spirit.
Very good quality, but no opening doors as they are resin, not diecast metal.

For the guy asking about E39 M5, Otto made a 1/18 scale in silver or blue. They are going for $$ on eBay.

You can pick up the 1/18 E39 M5 in silver pretty cheaply now (in silver).

Otto, the manufacturer, re-released the E39 earlier this year due to Covid-19 hitting their normal productions/releases so could only produce and release models made previously and the E39 M5 was one of them.

Pick one up now whilst cheap!

Although none are released yet, you should be able to purchase these from any Model Store or you can try eBay. I'm not from the USA so I am not really knowledgeable of any good stores to be honest.

Having said that, BMW will be releasing their dealer versions later this year which means you can order these direct from your local BMW dealer if that is easier for you. As soon as I have the part numbers, I will update.
The 1/64 Isle of Man Green M3 shown above is a BMW dealer edition only so will only be available through BMW dealers initially.

It really is. With that being said though, I pre ordered the one with all the M performance options. I don't like the decals and the side flicks being on there however my car will have the front lip, side blades, and rear winglets so I figure this was the only way to get something close to resembling my build.

Besides, I'll never get one that truly matches since I have an individual color. 🤷🏻

Don't forget that you can easily remove all of the decals with something like rubbing alcohol.
