I already ordered/paid for the tires at the shop I'm taking the wheels to....going on three weeks now. They already have the front tires.

Yeah I got the part numbers that I listed from a ECE vin. ECE requires amber blinkers. I think the only difference between 63215A261E5 / 63215A261E6 (ECE part numbers) and 63215A261E7 / 63215A261E8 are the amber vs red turn signals.

Anybody have any idea how much the CSL strut brace will go for, and will it fit on a G80?

keep in mind, the struct brace is in 2 places, top of the car near the hood and bottom, so that will likely be 2 part numbers if you want the full stiffness.

the csl strut brace looks like 1 piece imho which is one of the things that makes it different. the photos posted so far it looks like one piece

If you listen to the CSL videos, the engineers said that piece you see is also recreated under the car in a place that's not immediately visible. It's in one of the CSL videos where they said that.

That doesn't preclude getting the one piece for looks but it won't immediately replicate all the strut bracing from the CSL.

There is a reason this thing still costs $140k with only an ECU tune in the engine. Lots of parts in the car that probably aren't obvious + software tune.

not sure what you are talking about... i've watched the video and seen the pictures, its seem clear its one piece. all i am commenting on is that fact that it is one part number. literally nothing else about it as a performance part or whatever. just that its 1 part number.

In this video at 5:11 in:

The one guy goes as he's pointing to the strut brace: "And they always have two levels. We have a layer up here, and another reinforcement layer on the underside."

Paddleshifterz quoted me 688€ + shipping.

I imagine it might fit the G80, but not sure.

That's only $684.77 in todays dollars!

Even with shipping, I'd rather pay that for the BMW CSL strut brace than what's currently offered aftermarket for double that price!

Do you happen to know if the ECE tails require any coding?

I know iND says that their tails don't require coding but really after amber turn signals if I'm upgrading and I don't know if their sets have amber signals.

Thanks

I don't know that. If it does, then I imagine it's something simple.

They do use the same electrical connection as std lights, though.

Edited the OP: added weight figures for some items and added part numbers for engine & trans mounts, headlights, centre console, front hood.

Missing are just the seats - lots of single items, didn't wanna spend ages writing so let me know if you want the # in case you're in the market for overly expensive chairs.

The reference is probably to the new Front Anti-Roll bar listed so from an engineer's perspective they stiffen the top strut brace and below with a new anti-roll bar.

I would be curious if the Springs and Bump Stops and dampers will plug and play on a g80x and if it will drop it some?

I find it curious the front and rear coils are the same part number. If accurate, this might suggest linear springs - or perhaps, these are p/n for the tender springs only. I would think the front spring rates would have to be higher. Not sure this data is accurate.

Probably multiple part numbers (maybe at least 4 major parts), mainly cause of the solid welded trunk piece.
