There has been chatter in other threads about a cold start rattle from the exhaust system valving. I am happy to report that there is no rattle at all from my system. Just wanted to share that bit of information.
+1 on this. Hoping for no rattle issues as I've been plagued with those on my previous F30.

This exhaust is very loud. Even in comfort there's a pretty noticeable change in tone. It's hands down my favorite mod so far on the G20. I'd think this one is plenty loud for most, but AWE does make an even louder one from the sounds of it. Good to have options anyways!

Find a Parking Deck or Underpass

Do yourself a favor and find a parking deck or underpass, open the valves, and floor it with the windows down. Just did that myself and that alone is worth the price of admission!

100% and the quad black tips on my white car look much better than the stock, sliver "ovals".

That sounds really great! Thanks.

The passenger side tips need to be turned clockwise a touch.

Thanks buddy! And you're right- I'll fix that later today! I know I'm right at home when other people here have the same level of car OCD as myself

i know someone probably asked this but does it have a valve for comfort and sport+ mode?

also whats someones opinion on this vs the AWE exhaust?

is the extra money for the touring one worth it?

When the valves are connected in comfort, the exhaust is pretty quiet. Comes alive in sport. But I unplugged the valves so I run wide open regardless of comfort or sport and it's so much better. I was considering AWE too but I got such a good deal on Dinan that it didn't make sense to spend more for what may be a very similar sound. It's hard to say since I haven't heard awe in person but I've been happy with Dinan.

I accidentally knocked one of my tips loose when cleaning them.. tried tightening down the clamp and was fine for a few days but came loose on a 1.5hr rd trip.

Anyone having issues w the tips staying in place when pushed back to flush? I'm gonna wait for it to cool down and tighten them up tomorrow. Any tips for getting them equal lengths for those who have messed with these?

Is the clamp messed up? Sometimes you can over tighten the clamp and that could be why it slips or moves off?

I think you may be correct. It's hard to hold the tips and tighten into place tho. I do think it's probably too tight now that I think about it

Yeah there is a torque spec on those clamps so you need to tighten them but not go too hard bc once you do they don't have the same hold they had before. Order a new clamp and you should be golden

What's the torque spec, do you know? I don't have the tool for that. And I only tightened them a little more than the dealer did so hopefully I didn't mess them up

Typically 40-60lbs for most torca type clamps, I think it did mine to 55lbs

Awesome thanks for letting me know. Just pulled up the instructions online and doesn't state specifics. Gonna try to loosen it tomorrow and see if I can't fix it.

Looks like both somehow slid inward but both were flush at the start of the trip.

You may have tightened them at an angle and it warped the clamp?
