Bought OBDLinkCX and Bimmercode. Just coded Sport Plus and Comfort Plus. Difference between the two Sport modes is night and day, especially the lovely exhaust burbles you get when lifting off throttle and downshifting. I can't seem to tell the difference between Comfort and Comfort Plus, though. Maybe a little smoother throttle response?

New tire. Went over a pothole and it deflated immediately. Tire bead broken. No biggie was near end of life anyway.

So far, I've changed only two things:

1) ambient lights for the center console

2) changed stock black piano trims with original BMW Aluminum tetragon trims

Thanks !

It's very easy to install as there's on youtube video tut, and I buy them from AliExpress ! ( of course you have to have ambient lights from the factory )

I started with the piano black finish and decided to go with the M Performance CF afterwards (dry CF look).

When I found out that the cf bits from the new M3 were a perfect fit for the M340i I was ecstatic as it is the wet looking CF. I love CF. In fact I have all the available CF OEM parts for the M340i. Debatable if it's for the car or my 1.5 year old golden retriever but its called a Meadowlark Premium hammock Dog Car seat cover (back seat). Five years ago i probably wouldn't have let him in previous BMW's but I took him down the beach early this morning (6.30am) just after sun-up and it was just beautiful out there and he had a riot playing with the waves and the cover kept all the sand in it, nothing in the car (except some sand from my shoes on my foot-well rubber mat so vacuum out later on took five minutes). I've come to the conclusion that while I want the car to stay nice, mornings like this are ultimately far more valuable.

Wrapped the active shutters CF so that the grill doesn't get lost when the active shutters are closed. Was contemplating the m5 style grill on eBay but I think I'm ok with this look

A clean immaculate car rarely tells good stories..

Just yesterday we were going out for my brother in law's birthday and my girlfriend (mother of my baby girl) ended up driving back from the restaurant and while we were checking out on a local place to take a few last drinks she scraped the front lip on the M340i parking.. I was mad for like 10seconds but after we just all laughed of it and I told her I'd say it happened on a track day 😜
