The little kink at the bottom of the headlight is really bugging me. Why would they do that?

I guess we’ll get the choice, same as on the current M Performance models.

I love that hood and the way the kidneys meet up to it, it's where the E90 LCI left off and they did away with that dumb bumper design for euro pedestrian standard.

If I am reading page 1 correctly, there is no plan for a manual transmission for non-n M3 3 series in usa. Very depressing. Audi a4 doesnt have it, and bmw follows audi again. Bmw thumbs its nose at enthusiasts and tells them to buy the much higher priced M3 if you want manual. Not cool. I dont get it bc there were plenty of takers for manual on f30

I still haven't wrapped my head around why the top portion of the kidney grill openings have camouflage treatment. :

Was wondering that too - looks like some kind of weird extension to the bonnet (well into the grilles though) to ensure the front edges of the headlight eyebrows look joined up? :

Could be - looks a bit weird on the g20 as the grille surround is clearly visible. Looks weird to me as I never had an E90 so it's new from my perspective.

wait, m performance vehicles doesnt have fog light (except X series), so doesnt this latest photos shows 330i with m package, instead of m340i which by some spy shots doesnt have fog light and has square exhaust pipes instead of round, just like z4 m40i has?

no, its not kidney brow (not 3er e90 style), look at 2series AT and GT and also at lets say x1, they all have that, its not that visible from far but is visible with some close up looks

EDIT: photos added... on both you can see that, just x1 is mpre accurate comparing to 3er g20
