Car Stuck at VDC / Vehicle Processing for almost a Month!

Hi G20 gang,

My car (330i xDrive) has been stuck in the "At Port" status for almost a month now after arriving in at the NYPOA. The date of arrival at the dealership has now been pushed back by a week 3 consecutive times. BMW customer relations has no idea whats going on. I have no port installed options on the car

My dealer also has no idea what's going on- there are no recalls, holds, damage that they see on the vehicle. I recently contacted the Sales Manager who said they will reach out to the VDC to see what's going on but does anyone have any ideas? I myself tried reaching out to the VDC in Jersey city using some phone number I found online but no one there answers the phone.

Any and all help is appreciated

I hate to speculate like this, but the first thing that came to my mind was body damage being repaired. If that’s it you can take comfort in the fact they have outstanding capabilities and do it all the time.

So no body damage according to my dealer and BMW. I escalated this on Twitter and got a call from some Sr customer service rep. They told me they had contacted the port/VDC and put the car on expedited list. Apparently, its just been sitting there waiting for an inspection- no idea why yet.

Apparently the car was just sitting there at the VDC for an unknown reason (TBD from BMW customer service) but the day after I complained to BMW on Twitter, it got moved and a day after that it arrived at the dealership.. Quite a bad customer experience from a luxury brand imo
