Totaled or not?
Hard to tell if it’s totaled or not since it happened yesterday. Airbags didn’t go off but whole front bumper and hood is caved in. What do you guys think.

First, hope everyone involved is okay!
I would say no, based off pictures and approx value of the car. My 2021 330e was totaled in November from a deer, with ~$25k of damage, but had the whole hood and radiator snapped and was only worth ~$35k at the time. |

Based on how new the car is and the damage. Looks like new hood, grille, fender, bumper and headlight. Maybe suspension damage? I can't tell if the wheel is turned that way or not.
I'm going to say not totalled. Now if there is some hidden frame damage is likely done for but it does not seem likely |

If nothing is compromised, like A pillars and no frame damage , because the car is new and value is still high there going to repair it.
If not hopefully they will pay it off completely, if not did you get gap insurance? I don’t think you’ll need it because if the year and value but good to have just in case. |

Actually looking at the front end a bit more looks tweaked, like it might have hit the engine as well. OP did the car still run and drive? Did the car go into limp mode?

It’ll be hard for anyone on this forum to answer the question for sure. Opinions here are subjective based on the photos alone. If there are hidden damages (to the frame for example) then that’s a different story. Let the shop complete its assement of the damage and that will be the determinant.
In the end, your insurance makes the call. |
