So a quick update, picked her up this weekend and the dealer included the second set of 19" wheels and tires that came on the car which must be around 3k in value...an unexpected surprise.

So sale price was $72,500 taxes inclusive(NY sucks 6,600 in tax alone)

Less the extra set of wheels and tires 3000.00

so the actual sale price around $63k with forged wheels and M exhaust

Reached out to like 9-10 surrounding dealers got them to send me offer sheets than took the lowest offer and this final dealer gave me the lowest price out the door...very important to forget all the fluff and insist on the out the door price
The extra wheels were a surprise cause on the sticker they charged $600 for the 19" then in the accessories another $4600 for the forged wheels so on the pick up day i mentioned that i was double charged and hoped to get the 600 off the price, but the sales person said OH i have those wheels for you(which im sure he would have forgot if i didnt mention anything)

So here it is...

Just curious, setting aside the value for the extra wheels, $72.5 including $6.6k in taxes means that excluding tax, you got the car for $65.9k versus a $77k sticker? So 14.5% off of MSRP? Can that be right? Seems way too high for what dealers are willing to do these days. And no indication from Leasehackr that dealers are dealing for M340s. Wasn’t any lease equity from a trade-in or anything like that bringing down the price? My dealer is getting in two of these and trying to decide between just doing a lease buyout or moving into one of these special editions.

Yea they gave me some equity on my lease return but it wasnt much maybe 1500 i guess they wanted my trade in badly so they discounted the car very steeply or maybe i just got lucky plus they had 3 of them so they needed to move them...just my thoughts

Curious which dealer. Darcar in mt kisco NY had a few of these special editions coming in plus one in stock with the forged wheels. I opted to go with a regular loaded one over the past weekends. the M Performance exhaust comes tomorrow from a forum vendor. Didn’t want the carbon bits for $3k. Had it us a front splitter I’d have been intrigued but looking at both cars next to eachother I preferred the black grill.

Yep they had one i looked at without the wheels for 72,540 i think but the price/discount wasnt to my liking, what did you pay just curious

Mine was not the special edition. Sticker was ~$66k and i paid $64k - $1000 loyalty (which they threw in bc i didnt have one already) + their $1200 "2% sales commission fee" i had read about on here but never seen anywhere else. i just looked at is as a net and made sure i was compfortable. so net/net around $64,200 +title, tax. the 3.99% interest for 60months was worth a deal alone vs market

Yea i remember them having that stupid fee when i was shopping for my wifes car total rip off
So if you add the exhaust and forged wheels if you want them and all other bits probably comes out to same price as the "special" ones...lol

Yea, I just want the exhaust which gets delivered today. $150 cheaper than the $2500 add on and I can keep the stock one and install in my garage in an hour (I enjoy doing that stuff). I didn’t want the wheels and other stuff. All good though I’m happy! Enjoy yours as well. I’ve been in my lifted wrangler rubicon for a few years and enjoying the smooth ride in this car. I come from the Audi arena where I had a 2015 and a 2016 S4 in past few years.

You may be surprised. I had to cut through some typical dealer BS on price sheets when they were trying to get me to buy a new car instead of doing a lease buyout....but they were kicking in nearly $4,000 in lease equity on my 3yr old M340xi.

Enjoy the new ride. My dealer had the $72.5 'special edition' in stock when I did my lease buyout. I love the color on it and the M exhaust note is sweet.

As I thought, they are aggressively trying to move these cars and are willing to discount/rebate steeply

I just bought this car that was stickered at $77,140. There is a line item indicating that it comes with the 19” double spoke bi color wheels. Can someone confirm if that’s true or not. Thank you!
