I’ve just lost the menu to set climate control rules. Seat heating and steering wheel heating at certain temp etc.

Anyone else had this? Found a previous thread last yr but nothing definitive how to fix! Thanks.

Try updating the apps. Go Apps and press Options.

Mine done that too i learned that its because BMW connected service expired but I coded it back using bimmercode app

Is it confirmed that the "climate control rules" menu is removed due to connecteddrive expiry? BMW service rep didn't know about this, and is still helping me figure out how to restore the "climate control rules" without any success. Do I need full version of the bimmercode app or will the free demo version work? Which menu is the "climate control rules" in the bimmercode app?

So if I were to let my connected drive subscripition expire, then I will lose the "climate control rules" unless I code them back in with Bimmercode?

Or is this dependant on the builld spec the car had when it rolled out of the factory?

This is what I had to code for the seats and steering

a. Headunit HU-MGU:

AKT_AUTO_SITZE_FRONT – heizung_kuehlung (for front seat heating and cooling)
AKT_AUTO_LENKRAD – heizung
AKT_AUTO_LENKRADHEIZUNG: aktiv

b. BDC:
LHZ_CCM_IKF – aktive
IKF_ENABLE – IKF_ALLE_SITZE
