Are those grilles possible to change to normal slat style or this is an only option on 340i?

Should be able to be replaced after delivery by ordering the part# for the grilles, likely the same process as the pre-LCI. Not an option that can be changed in the order from what I recall.

Although I do like the headlights, the pre-LCI is a bit more aggressive.

I hate what they have done to the 3 with the G series.

Pre LCI headlamps we're way more distinctive.

No shifter is an absolute dealbreaker for me. What on earth is bmw thinking. Horrible for any car but unacceptable for a sport performance car.

I agree, I mostly change gears from the shifter not the paddles and it's also a perfect spot for your hand for how I drive. Lot of people very low-key complaining about this it looks like. I hope someone will come out with a retrofit kit/aftermarket option or (not gonna get my hopes up for this one) at least BMW give the option… those who don't use the shifter and like the sleek layout pick that option… those who like the shifter get that option

I don't like it either. A proper shifter gives a nice tactile feel, especially when coated in nice materials. I try to emulate the MT experience with it. But at this point I've accepted paddles. Even the 911 PDK doesn't have a proper shifter now.

At least we still have something. Once these cars are EVs, we won't even have paddles to play with.

Man the shifter thing. Take a hint BMW. Manufacturers are now adding them back in.

pre-LCI Lasers looked better.
And indicator lights were separate.

Agree with everyone complaining about the shifter. Why on earth did BMW decide to remove it?
