That grill though? They sadly missed the mark. But I will be the first to say that this horse is beaten so thoroughly it's glue.
Yeah, the soft top is lighter and takes much less space in the trunk. I also found the metal roofs really weird looking, but i cant deny that they're safer and probably better insulated for sound, etc.

I also imagine the folding hard top would be a lot more expensive as well as possibly more problematic in the long run.

Actually if you look. The car is camouflaged but they have removed the panels that hid key details. Look closer and you can see the outline of these key details with any panels trying to fool you.

The most obvious reveal is the front where you can see the breather vents on the bumper. In the rear, you can see openings in the outer part of the bumper similar to the 8 Series.

Just more ///Marketing non-sense. I don't care about spy-shots anymore, just wish BMW would rip the damn band-aid off already, most of us have lost hope for this car anyways.

So what we got is a janky Lexus RC knock off. Way to "lead" the way to new design language.

Rear edge bumper "outlets" are more revealed here in their sculpting it appears...

With the exception of course of the grills, I see absolutely no resemblance to the Concept 4. Instead, this looks to me more like a second LCI refresh of the F series. I guess form really does follow function huh.

Gonna have to offer some cracking deals on these to shift them.... it’s not getting any more likeable at all as the camo comes off.

The 4 concept was striking, sculptured and fresh.

This just looks like a F3x 4 series vert with a cloth roof and extra slab sidedness.

I won’t even mention the grille

Too me it appears that we have already seen the new model. All you have to do is look at the blue one on the ship.

I'm so happy to see the soft top back. I think they look so much better than the hardtop.

Apparently only if uve seen the car finished and uncovered does anything he say actually make sense ...

The M440i Cabrio here is in a very advanced state of testing. Hence why the car's key details such as headlight and rear outlines, bumper sculpture etc has no false panels. The car is only camouflaged with the special film. So an artist can do and exact rendering because all details are now showing.

How much of BMW design and development is influenced by enthusiast's feedback as the ones found on this forum?

Apparently not much or that grille would be redesigned.

I have F83 and totally happy about the hardtop, would not go to softtop any more.
Had Boxster before, but compared to that,
- a lot bigger rear windows
- don't need to worry about rain (Softtop won't leak, but it is just not pleasant to see the top being wet...)
- don't need to worry about knifing

As for luggage, F83 is quite usable because it has the lifter.
With the top down, you can still fit pretty large luggage (https://us.amazon.com/Samsonite-Silh.../dp/B01N0AXDUP) and another carry-on size spinner in the rear trunk.

And you can put things in rear seat too, so totally enough for a small family

Hi, I'm new to this community, been browsing over some comments quick, and it would seem the predominant view towards the new kidney grills are negative.

I'm loving the look, and is very excited about how it's going to look on the production car once on the road. Are there any other pro large kidney views here too?
