Looks like the little "winglet" on the side mirrors goes up instead of being flat across. Interesting. I saw some if the photos had none... I kinda like mine. They are aggressive and a more subtle hint it's an M car. Rather have that and a few less badges personally... Looks good. Still not a huge fan of the proposed front nostrils. Maybe they will look better in person.

Best it's going to look as the camo hides the atrocious front grill.

Nice to see a sunroof on the test mule. Hopefully it will remain as an option.
As said by other previously it will all boil down to the revised front grill design.

I am enjoying this so much. They have put some extra mesh padding under the false nose cone covering the grille.
So you keep guessing? Or drives you crazy?

BMW M just released a photo of the front of the M4 GT3 customer racing program car.

https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1675751

Pretty much confirms the giant grilles.

Based upon X3/4M performance, the punch will definitely be brutal.

From that back shot it looks a bit tall and flat because it's an unflattering angle but from the one, like 3/4 shot from the front you can see the rear quarter panel is pretty bulgey like the current M4, and M2 even.

The whole car looks a bit big, but it looks good so far... I'm more interested in the G80 M3 so this isn't too huge a deal for me.

The way the deep character line runs across the top of the rear fenders together with how the greenhouse slims it creates an almost flat shelf making the rear fenders look extremely wide to me. With this design added flares around the wheel house would look very odd and are superfluous IMO.

No doubt grill will be bigger than we are used to , but not as big as we may think. IMHO the M4 and it's virtual twin the M3 will be performance benchmarks in there segment, just like the good old days. Most of us were impressed or surprised at the performance level of the X3/4M's and the M5 or even the M8 (even though not tested yet). Can't wait till they all are for sale!

That's the best looking wheel gap I've seen in a stock German car.
