Wrapping Diffuser in Gloss Black?

Lately the dark gray of the diffuser has been bugging me, having the full black grill and wrapped mirrors. Has anyone wrapped the diffuser?

My only concern with it would be heat from the exhaust, but I'm not sure if the tips get that hot to affect the vinyl.

Wouldn't it be easier to just replace with the black m performance diffuser?
