You're welcome.

Let us know your impressions on the cusco bar. Since it's a 3 piece, there should be a noticeable difference compared to none/2 piece bars. Looking forward to reading what you have to say

It definitely makes a difference. The stiffness and nimbleness is very noticeable comparing to no braces. Too bad there is no track around where I am located. I believe that it would be stupid to do some serious tests on the streets. But again, I do feel this Cusco product is a improvement over the stock setting.

This one is specifically designed for G20 & G28 3 series. G28 is extended wheelbase version only available in China. The whole new Supra is not yet launched in China so I have no clue if it will fit both cars.

I just checked the Cusco US site for the A90 Supra strut bar you mentioned and it looks entirely different comparing to mine.

Yup. I remember the Cusco bar for the Supra looked different. I just can’t seem to find the one for the G20!

Yea, it seems like Cusco discontinued the support for more recent BMW models in the US, at least that is what the site shows. Also I have checked their Japanese official site. There is nothing about G20 too. Thus I am assuming that the strut bar for G20 is only available in China for the time being because Cusco actually has a factory located in Shenzhen, China. You guys is gonna have to wait or just get similar products from other manufacturers.

Besides the strut bar, Cusco also offers other chassis reinforcement parts like font/rear sway bar and brake master cylinder stopper for the G20 in China.

Dammit. Looks like it's BMS for now or wait. I was hoping for a three piece brace since I know for sure those make a difference. Still waiting for a proper review of just the 2 piece brace

I PM'd you this link for a 3 point brace. Still haven't installed the BMS. I would like to use the G22/G23 hardware but the bolts are to large to use on the G20. I was trying to get these torx bolts that I circled in the photo. Apparently BMW has superceded the torx bolt to a hex bolt with washer which to me looks like a subframe bolt.

Which manufacturer is this if you don't mind me asking? I understand if you/they don't want to go public yet. Hopefully it's priced competitively.

It call KC design, taiwan based manufacturer, the price is quite good actually, but due to shipping to oversea, the cost is slightly higher depends on which area you're living in, they make quality stuff for BMW for a while. You can use my discount code, 5G20, for 5%off if you want to purchase their items.

Will do a open box review once i get the package and post some canyon run footage before and after to see how much is the difference.

Also, you can follow my IG(@norcal_m340i) to see more updates on the car

Ahh. I know of KCdesign. In fact, I did message them a while ago but shipping costs were prohibitive unfortunately. Their hardware looks beefy and nice!

The shipping cost is reasonable for what it is since we don't have much choice on strut bar, and their products are quite solid and much better than oem lol

For those familiar with the BMS strut brace install: Are there recommended torque values for the bolts? My set didn't come with any instructions.

I believe the Supra, Z4 and 3 series all have the same dimensions for strut braces? Or am I wrong?

And yes. The B9 A4 has OEM strut braces that look exactly the same as the ones on the Z4. I drove my A4 with and without the OEM brace. I could hardly tell a difference (I'm assuming whatever difference I felt was a placebo effect). But with OEM and aftermarket braces, the difference was very noticeable (aftermarket was a 3 piece brace though compared to the 2 piece flimsy OEM ones).
Has anyone confirmed if a strut brace manufactured for the Supra is considered a direct bolt on option for the M340i?
