Here is my very first BMW that I bought myself for a big birthday. After advice from the forum, I bought a sheepskin seat cover that has made my ride much more comfortable. I am still learning how to drive such a special car! Great handling. Color is Phytonic Blue with Vernasca Oyster.... Not sure what you all might think of the color combo? |

Are those official BMW rubber mats worth it in your opinion? Was tempted to rock the car with just the carpet as I expect them to feel better than the rubber, but i'm worried about keeping them pristine clean so considering getting those mats. Also when was your car built (couldn't tell with the private plate)? I noticed you haven't got the cubby hole under the light switches, and I am wondering if I will be missing it in my build once it arrives. |

That being said they are far better quality than any mats I've had and I'm not even tempted to put the carpet mats in that came with the car standard as they are so easy to clean even after muddy shoes have have soiled them. Buy with confidence. Its a December 2021 build delivered in January 2022. The cubby hole missing doesn't bother me, would have liked the wireless charger though. |

Interesting about the mats. I'm going to keep an eye on the carpet ones I have. If they're like the sets I had in my previous cars, they'll soon ware through where my heel is.
But those rubber ones also look like it stops all the stones and crap getting beneath, unlike the carpet ones. My OCD kicks in a bit when I lift them up!!

Yea the rubber mats are definitely better for that, they are very heavy and high quality which isn't as much as i can say for the carpet ones. I have a g30 5 series also and the carpet mats in that are still going strong after nearly 4 years with semi regular cleaning, they seem much denser and heavier than the ones on the g20 though. The rear ones in the g20 are a joke, can't even vacuum them without holding them in place they are so light. Thankfully it will be a good few years before my kids are big enough to reach the floor and by then I'll have taken delivery of an xc90 for family duties anyway so will only be occasional use in the rear.

Hi everyone. Love the mats...
I'm William, new to the forum. I bought an m340i last week. Below, on handover day with my old 420 which I p/ex for it.. I loved the 4 series. Looked great, drove well. But the m340 is on another level on every level except looks (in my eyes) I might go down the bimmercode route, but Im a bit of a technophobe so not for now... The G20 has 4 doors for the children, and 4wd for the winter. My wife is happy.... but I havent told her about the engine yet...!!! |
