External mirrors triangle

On the corners of both of the drivers external mirrors there is a small triangle.
Thought first it was blind spot monitoring, but don't think that’s available on the G20 in the UK.
Then it was auto dimming. No, that’s drivers side only controlled by the rear view mirror.
So what is the triangle for? Any ideas?

It is blind spot sign. Why wouldn't it be available in the UK?

I have the Driver Assist package but I believe ‘blind spot monitor’ in the U.K. is an indirect assist and not a separate monitor as such.
Or does it appear ‘as and when’ as a display on the Instrument Cluster?
Cannot find any mention of ‘blind spot monitor’ in the Handbook or the onboard Handbook.

It’s under lane change warning section of the manual.

Lane Change Warning.
At speeds of 12mph or more, the radar-based Lane Change Warning detects vehicles in the blind spot as well as vehicles in the neighbouring lane, alerting the driver by a triangular warning symbol on the exterior mirrors. If, in spite of this, the driver motions to change lanes by activating the indicator, he or she is alerted to the danger of the situation by a vibration in the steering wheel and a flashing triangular warning symbol on the exterior mirrors.

Thanks ’snusnu’!
It is also demonstrated very well indeed in the cars on-board:-
‘Owners Handbook’ - ‘User Help’ - ‘Lane Change Warning’
