Traded my 330e

A few weeks ago I contemplated trading my '22 330e for a M340i, and I was ridiculed a bit for not finding the M340 that impressive. Well yesterday I traded the 330e for a brand new '23 M2. I couldn't let my wife have the only M daily driver

Drove it straight over to Xpel for ppf, so only have about 50 mi behind the wheel, but very happy with my decision.

For anyone wondering, the dealer gave me $33k even which was $9k more what my local BMW dealer offered, $5k more than Carmax, & about $2k more than Carvana. Car is a '22, had 31k mi on it & I paid $49k for it new in June 2022.

Congrats! My guess is that in a year or 2 the M2 will be traded for a 911 GT3.

But I don't talk to anyone with less than a 3 Series, so don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Nah, my Callaway Carbon Edition Z06 takes care of the really fun driving needs. This one may just stick around for awhile

Does that Z06 only have 200 miles on it?

My guess is that u will hit the limits of the M2 soon and naturally migrate to Porsche.

but yeah it gets just over 1k per yr.

Since performance is important to u, what was the motivation to get the 330e?

Commute & gas savings. I was able to do my daily commute on all electric & highway still got 37-38 mpg. With the smaller tank fill ups were $28-30. We also have had 5-6 Jeep Wranglers for fun. My 14 yr old bought a sweet 2-owner 2003 Wrangler earlier this year for his first vehicle. Since he can't drive yet, I use it for a fun, top-off cruise around in the summer vehicle. Don't always have to be going 0-60 in 3 seconds.

I'd love to hear a more detailed comparison now that you've owned it for several months. Like how does it handle daily duties? I'm sure it's significantly better in the fun department.

I got to drive a G80 but I haven't had the chance to drive a G87 yet.
