Is this proper? (16k miles)

Was driving home, decided to rip it in sports mode and this alert came up with the chime... semi concerned but maybe I'm dramatic? For a 2020 car to be shootin this alert is troublesome, any insight appreciated

Looks like it's time to add some oil. Check the oil level in idrive. Some folks here haven't had to add any and some have been adding between oil changes. I'm at 4500km and still at Max. I drive her in sport plus 90 percent of the time.

Yeah I am In similar situation. The reason I am worried is because I'm at 16k now and I feel like for a modern engine this shouldn't be normal?
