This is a known issue after most (if not all flash tunes) - if you flashed with Mission Performance they have a work-around for you.

Who did you flash with? if MP Im guessing Alex wasn't aware you had remote start and therefore didn't enable it for you

ps- the work around is not the most elegant solution in that it requires you to leave your key card in the area where the remote charging tray is - otherwise it works perfectly

Oh wow I didn’t realize Ecutek was an option. That is what I was planning to use to tune my GTR if I ever get around to it and may even use Visconti.

So just curious, did you try putting your key card in the wireless charger area? As chenry mentioned, that is what I had to do after my tune.

CarBahn stage 1 flash here; same exact issue: after install, remote start (both, via app as well as remote) no longer functioning. CarBahn is aware that this is a known problem, no solutions yet.

Sorry for respond ecutek cost 1k. And tune 600.. I went with stage 2

I didn't do it. Yet.. But you have to program key first right?

kind of… I make my vehicle available for development
so at the Moment, i would say it is a custom tune which is going to be available for everyone later

and i can tell you… there are still reserves. specially for the us costumers. i have a EU model with a particle filter which is restrictive

I didn’t program it. It was in the sleeve of my owners manual and I just took it out and put in on the wireless charger and now the remote start works.

I did the same however this only works if you have a Mission Performance flash tune

Alex built this functionality and makes it available to his customers running on his platform

Presently all other tunes will kill your remote start capability and there is not a solution as of yet (by anyone other than MP) to fix the issue.

I have software version 3/2020 so I had to send my ECU in to Mission Performance to unlock it on the bench.

Any update on fix for the remote start being disabled after a tune? Just had a stage 2 done on mine by a local tuner and of course the remote start does not work anymore. Getting cold in the PA/MD area. I sure would like to get it working again soon. I wonder what the work around is that Mission is using or if they can offer the workaround only for someone who already has a tune? I can't seem to find any good info on why or how it gets disabled when merely tuning the engine ecu. I have a key card and wouldn't mind the leave it in the tray trick if I could get it coded for that. Anyone have any info or advice?
