is this an OEM spoiler and M perf diffuser? really wish BMW would bring the full extended shadowline pack to the US... continue to do cerium grey mirror caps / frond fender vent slits / rear diffuser while only having the grille be gloss black.

Hey could you give us a closer look at the red start-Button.
I would appreciate some photos where we can see it closer.

Was it Easy to change this Button?

This took all of 3 seconds to find with a simple search. lol

And if that's how it actually looks, all recessed, and not flush like the factory one, then that's

Kinda looks like it's just something that's laid on top of the original button, rather than replacing the actual button.

A non recessed button would be good I think, since now everything in that area is flat. I wouldnt mind it, would make it easier to find.

I agree. Hopefully it won’t look too bad.

I keep hitting the ASS button instead of the sport button when I’m in the highway and can’t look down. I wish it was elsewhere, like under the 1-8 buttons, where it is in my SQ5. Would’ve been easier and I didn’t need to take my eyes off the road.

Indeed! That button cover is a bliss, i was also pressing the wrong buttons all the time since everything is flat.

Did you have to pop the trim to install the button? How about a pic at night showing the light on the button? Does it look like the original button or is it different?

It's a small aluminium cover that you stick onto the original button.
So no light coming through.
I saw they also have a full button replacement like the "Chrystal" one in the X5, with that one you will have visible text at night.

do you have the part numbers for these? not seeing them when selecting M340 on Mperf parts site from BMW. Wouldn't think these are the same ones that are listed for 330i... thanks!

Sorry, what is "AE"? I'm not familiar and I've been trying to find a red start button ever since I picked up my M340.

Nice car! Where did you get the interior carbon fiber trim for the dash and center console? Are they replacement parts or are they pieces that cover the existing parts?

Meanwhile I reached 25k km and stil in love with the car.
Installed 2 cutout valves so I can bypass the muffler.

And I installed new paddleshifters.

Nice work.

Your video appeared through my youtube algorithm and I knew I recognised the car.

PS. I bought that red starter button but it looks a bit crap tbh so I've left it off. Really would rather it the same as stock but just in a red colour.

Yeah I am looking for a button swap too.
Maybe the button of the x5m or m8 would do the job.
