Today I finally purchased the black high gloss M-Performance diffusor. The standard dark grey metallic one was start bothering me a bit because of the color. Hope to receive it beginning next week and I’ll try to install it myself. Did not wanted to go for the Carbon Fiber version because it would be the only CF part on my car.

Looking forward to seeing before and after of that, good choice! Should be a pretty straightforward install.

Finally the high gloss black M-Performance is installed on my car after the 5 layer Gyeon coating. Before and after, what do you think?

After finishing the M-mirrors back in August it’s time for a new modification. This time the full chrome grill. Installation was not to hard. As always I had a little fight witch the plastic clips.

Your car's chrome grill looks very sharp together with the bright window trim and the M mirrors

Latest modification for my car are the 50th anniversaryof BMW Motorsport wheel caps. Pretty expensive (almost 50€ each), but also kind of unique.

Steven I am keen to get the winged mirrors but was waiting to see the availability of genuine ones.

Have you a part number please.

Did you fit yourself, any issues. Is it just the cover to replace or are other parts needed.

Thanks for any advice.

The mirrors are 100% OEM from BMW. You need to order 4 pieces. 2 mirror caps and 2 mirror support rings. Other parts remain as-is. Both pieces have the wing. Painting of mirror caps was done by my local dealer. The part numbers:

Mirror caps:
51169500711
51169500712

Support ring:
51168746847
51168746848

I fitted them myself (I’m not very handy) with care and some patience.

Note: part numbers are for a left hand drive car, right hand drive car might have other part numbers. Your local BMW dealer can help. Only thing they will say is that they don’t fit on your G20 so it’s on your own risk.

The newest upgrade of 2023, I finally managed to get an OEM red start/stop button. After some hassle with duck seal and a stanley knife I was able to replace the button.

Last picture shows a comparison of an aftermarket vs OEM button.
