I was in the market for a 2020 M340i. I wanted Fiona Red individual leather, but the dealer told me it wouldn’t be allowed this late in production. I missed the final allocations anyway so I’m in a 2021 at this point.

The dealer said I can order it on the 2021 when allocations opens, but every thread I’ve read said individual leather isn’t available in the U.S.

Can anyone confirm please.

Individual leather is not available in the US. However, some dealerships (usually the larger volume dealers) are able to get an "advertising allocation" which in turn they could sell you. It doesn't happen very often but is somewhat possible.

yeah i was told i couldn't order individual leather with my individual build. however i think an m340 at a dealership somewhere on the west coast did have the individual merino

Dealership told me it’s not a problem. I’ll find out in July when I build and order the car.
