Non OEM wheel sizes vs. OEM
I'm on the market for new winter wheels (Non OEM wheels) and the ones that I like so far are with slightly different specs, compared to the OEM wheels that I currently have.
Current (BMW 790M): Front: 7.5J x 18; ET25 Rear: 8.5J x 18; ET40 New ones: Front: 8J x 18; ET30 Rear: 9J x 18; ET44 Overall slight differences in width and offset. So I wonder how are they gonna fit - will they go inwards or outwards compared to the current wheels? Also, what tyre sizes I can go with the new wheels? Can I go for the sizes I have now with the summer tires: Front: 225/45 18 Rear: 255/40 18 thanks |
