Sheldon’s girlfriend may be smart, but still.... for a long term relationship looks matter to me.. Can’t believe I am reading this on a BMW forum. This car should be the epithome of a luxury, sporty beautiful sedan. We need, excitement, feelings, passion... |

I keep hoping with each new set of photos that the G20 will suddenly, in some configuration, look good.
It doesn't. Instead, the more you see, the worse it looks. A refresh could salvage the front by eliminating the fake 30% of the grill and bringing the hood line forward. New bumper covers could shed the hideous detail. But the doors and rear quarter are a disaster and a remedy will require some expensive retooling. I wonder if VAG has the management sense and stability to take advantage of the opportunity BMW is offering them to take over the segment. Meanwhile, perhaps BMW could rebrand the G20 under a Chinese brand, extend the wheelbase, de-content the drivetrain, and forget this ever happened. The interior looks great though, aside from the loss of dials for temp control. -Michael |

Just can't feel it on the front grill. The kidney grills are a complete mess. Back end is fine, but this car is looking bigger....someone mentioned Sonata....

Why is the styling language like this, the Kink is left on the chassis/pillar. Even tho it's gonna grow on us. It's just weird. It's like they purposely styled the more expensive models better. 8/8GC |

give it a chance to grow once you see it in person. Personal opinion - 3-series has always required the M sport package to look the part. Maybe the F30 generation just looks so good that it's hard to make the G20 even better?

Having said that, if they did, at least half this forum will be high-fiving themselves that they took down one of the few RWD sports sedan makers left. Yee ha! |

Looks like an evolution of the F30. As long as it drives more like the E46 and less like the F30, then I would say we are taking a step in the right direction.
