Grey is easily the worst color choice for any vehicle.

Talk about dull, lifeless, and depressing. Only Nardo and Fashion Grey are passable.

Looks Japanese. Wouldn't even look twice if I saw this pass by...generic.

This generation, not so much. I also doubt it drives much better than the f30.

After owning 4 consecutive generations of 3 series, I think I will sit this one out.

There's no concrete driving impressions yet but all signs point toward this car improving on the abysmal F30.

I'm hoping this car is legit because I sat out the F30 generation, for good reason too.

But how are the competition any more desirable? The A4 is a snooze fest and the C-class looks like a melting jellybean.

Alfa Giulia looks like a rental car in lower trims. It's interior is rental grade in all trims.

The more pictures I see, the less I care for this car...regardless of color. Maybe that will change in person, but it rarely does.

This car looks much better than any F30. And I bet it drives worlds better too. The G platform is a substantial improvement over the F platform cars.

I saw this car at the LA AutoShow this week. I was not impressed at all and have always been an advocate as the 3 series as the leader in its class. I like most liked the initial lines of the car in pictures, but was disappointed in person; felt completely Japanese in appearance and feel. The rear taillights are hideous in person. $54,000+ for the M340i; absolutely ridiculous.

+1

Seeing in person is a little underwhelming.

I saw and sat in it in LA auto show as well.

Please, please, please tell me I can get stock black grill to get rid of that hideous chrome astrocity? If that, then I am in. Otherwise I might have to bite the bullet and buy out by '18 340i MT lease.

Also saw this at the LA Auto show. Side and front view are my favorite, specially the interior but the rear end is hideous!

Whoever designed the M340 grill and Lexus rear needs to be fired.

Grey or Black is best on this car IMO.

First time I feel a 3er absolutely needs its tail lights tinted.

This thing looks good from certain angles but really has lost many of BMW’s traditional styling cues.

I think it looks better than a pre-LCI E90 or F30. But its a bit overstyled with the huge grille and fake rear vents, weird tails, new Hofmeister kink, and these ugly door handles!

Another month to think about it...
Go for the blue - it's a proper colour and BMWs look best in blue
Whatever hue, whatever tint and whatever name they give it to make it more appealing, grey is, well, boring old grey - there's no escaping it!!!

The first m340i picture is great. That’s the best it’s looked so far. The Grey seems to shrink the grill size much better than the black. Will be interesting to see it in blue.

Bruh my E90 328 was $50k when new, that too without navigation.

C43 hits $60K easy. BMW is on par for this segment.

I predict that when you see and experience it in person and drive it the odds are high your attitude will change and you’ll end up buying one.

If sales decline they will notice. I'm assuming he's not the only one. To me this doesn't look like a BMW. And that starting price
