G20

G20 looks great in the m sport package. Looks more sporty and aggressive. The back doesn't even look like an ugly Lexus. First of all Lexus coped BMW with the L shaped taillights. Lol fuck Lexus

Not feeling it. I'm a huge BMW fan but I can't lie and say this car looks good because it flat out doesn't. Take away the taillights and grille and it has incredible potential. The body kit is great, but with these taillights and grille it doesn't do it for me. I tried getting used to this look but I can't! The LCI better bring something completely different and appealing.

Disagree, you really need to see this car in person to appreciate it. It looks quite well put together, more than the F30 I would say, and I own one, and love it.

I think it's a gorgeous car and looks well presented with its sleek body lines, aggressive front end and clean tidy sporty interior. I'm definitely gonna try to test drive one!

Have to agree with you. They look terrible as they do on any car.

The new steering wheel is nowhere near as nice as the F30 one, looks like it's went back a generation in design. Loving everything about the G20, except the new steering wheel. It's nice sure, but the last one was awesome when it first came out and still looks great.

I like the black/cognac combo... the interior seems to be a big step up from the F30. I still don't like how soft the profile has become, how thick the grill frame is, and how forced the headlight shape looks... all in my humble opinion. I actually don't mind the rear of the car at all.. the tail lights still carry the traditional L-shape from previous generations.

This led lighting is going to be annoying. The f30 had it so it was down lit. the top part and the dash part is not down lit and will be annoying at night. hopefully it can be turned way down or off.

While I could possibly see someone saying that in looks. I mean. I have that wheel outside in my car haha, The feel on the G20 was MUCH grippier, and a bit smaller, it just felt like it would be more fun in use. I would be interested to hear your opinion after a hands on with the new one. I was relatively indifferent off looks alone, but then when I was at the dealer I was very impressed with the new wheel specifically. To the point that it caught my attention. Not that the F3x one isn't great, it is. But it actually makes the F3x one feel a bit... grandpa ish. Which is quite shocking because it is quite a sporty wheel. The new one definitely has a bit smaller diameter, and is thicker. The material is much better on the new one as well. Very grippy. My biggest complaint on the F3x wheel is that, while it is a looker, the material is super slippery on it, not as good in function really. I would say it's great but not at all would I say perfect.

I am interested to hear if you guys maintain that position after trying it out. Do agree that the F3x wheel is a looker though. But I would bet you guys would go from strong opinion to... indifferent, not caring much, after driving the new. But maybe I'm wrong

Off of looks alone, I can see how someone would perhaps form that opinion, but the actual usage, specifically, diameter, material, feel, cohesiveness with the car in feel, the new one was a winner for me. I don't think I will lose a lot of sleep over losing the old one if I go with one of these down the line (LCI probably). Giving the new one a chance, I may even prefer it looks wise, or at least about the same. You just have to let it be itself and not compare it so much. The other wouldn't match the new design as much.

Other than the striking front, the overall design of this G20 exterior is quite lazy. Too many lines from other manufacturers, and an obviously mandated disregard of classic BMW character lines. Somebody did their customer study and determined that BMW means too much of a racer and no practicality, so let's take out the BMW-ness look and create this mass of a bland "sport sedan" so it appeals to many more non-BMW customers than before.

Which means that I am just old for this shit. Good run, though.

Well this certainly looks way better in black with that interior. More so than even in my favourite color Tanzanite Blue. The black hides all those fussy lines and creases. Does anyone know if Citrin Black Metallic will be offered for the new M340I as an individual color?

I'm sure is a perfectly nice wheel to hold and use and it looks fine. They are always nicer when brand new, before the get a bit slippery. This is just a purely based on the look of the wheel.

Unfortunately just caught that one on the showroom floor, so didn't really get an idea other than aesthetics, but you could definitely tell they were fine tuning and practicing some mastery with this design. Thought the M Sport steering wheel in my 340i was as good as it gets but that one is just incredible. In some ways makes the older models feel... Toy like. Hard to explain but they really brought the design and feel of the car up to modern standards and like you say there (haha) you can definitely sense there is some passion in the design. Will be an awesome upcoming platform can already tell. Really buttoned up well, I bet they will be a blast to drive.
Great pics! This is the exact build I am thinking of getting. Alpine white with black rims. My previous BMW's were both white, but with the standard rims. The black looks amazing on the white, in your opinion though do you think the black will show more dirt and scratches though? I have a black SUV now and it shows swirl marks, dirt, etc. so I don't know if it's the same for black rims. I can't wait to test drive this beauty. I was contemplating between this car and the 2019 C Class, but the C class steering was absolutely horrible. It didn't have a good feel to it, BMW is more fun to drive.

I've had black wheels on my E82 135i, which was Alpine white, and it wasn't that bad. In general, I feel that wheels can be forgiven a bit more than the body of the car when it comes to dirt so I don't think it would be a major issue. I tend to prefer the alloy look just because I find it to be more classic nowadays, but the black wheels always look good with a white car too.

i totally agree with you. I got to sit in the new G20 and the aluminum trim looks much better in person. The online builder doesn't do any justice to the aluminum trim. Until today I was thinking of getting my next car with Fine-wood trim oak grain open-pored, but seeing Aluminum Tetragon Interior Trim in person has changed my mind.
