they are not.... we've seen this before. They're way too arrogant to be responsive. BMW are little princesses in their own imagenary world of their moral dominion on us. Arrogance overshooted is leading to bankrupcy of the entire group. Just wait and see what happens.
So...why do own a BMW?

Darker colors def help hide the hideous grill better.

I don't see how you're making that correlation. To me this looks like a cheap base level car that you'd see leased out to interns

Hope that first real tests proof I'am totally wrong on this one since an ugly grill is one thing, but compromised vehicle dynamics is now even more crucial than before.
I agree, albeit it is the 440i and not the M4.

Come on guys, Im digging it.... picture this.... cruising on an empty mountainous windy road during a foggy winter night accelerating into a long dark tunnel during a nationwide quarantine all the while your slightly used airline barf bag is riding shotgun

My hope that BMW will get back is gone.

All I feel now is disappointment, repulsion, ….. indifference...

Honestly, I am done.

Screw you BMW!

I don't know. In some ways it's not so terrible. It just doesn't look like a BMW. Looks like an Japanese Alfa. Why can't they just stay true to their roots? And no, to me it looks nothing like the tall thin grills from distant years past. It's like they are trying to follow. Sad.

Video was kinda boring. Car makes no noise. It sounded better in the cabin than it does in real life lol.

I really wanted an M3 for my next car, but with the all but certain look of the G80, I've pretty much moved on and have my sights on something else. I wouldn't consider this design without some extreme incentives.
I think it's ugly as hell at any MSRP. but tolerance and price are inverse.

The lower the price, the more you MIGHT grow to tolerate it.

I personally wouldn't be able to at any price. Saw a C43 the other day and it looked (to quote the British) PROPER. Definitely would consider that long before I'd consider this as a DD.

I love how every single new G22 4 series post is accompanied by 90% of comments about how bad the grille is. I keep forgeting how horrible it is and I appreciate the constant reminders. It's refreshing to see this awesome herd mentality in full force! Yay for the herd. Maybe this puts us closer to herd immunity from Covid! If only we could all be this united about everything else in the world. Maybe Trump should build a wall with BIG GIANT double kidney grilles and 90% of the whole country could then be united in hatred of the wall... we can all get together and sing just like this old school Coke commercial

Yeah I'm having a hard time wondering why they went with this grill instead of like the g20 grill.
