I just cannot like the exterior of the new 4 series. It's a big step back compared to the new gen. It's very rounded, and the overhangs seem too long, especially in the front - does not look like a rwd car and that's we even start talking about that tragedy for the grille

This is honestly an easy fix. The G series 4er looks much better with the front plate lowered. Traditional kidney design gets translated better in my opinion with the top line of the plate serving as the bottom lines of the kidneys (effectively).

Half the reason BMW is doing this is so they can sell another grill to everyone who buys one

It's a clever marketing trick if you were to ask my opinion
