19x9 on the front ET 20 with a 255/35/19 | Dinan Springs

For reference:
  • 19x9
  • 255/35/19
  • ET 20 (this was achieved by adding a 5mm spacer)
  • No rub
  • Dinan springs

how is the traction with the wider tyres?
what size did you put on the back?

i am planing to add 255/30R20 at the front and
265/30R20 at the back. i have a mhd stage 2 tune and need more traction😉

i have not a good feeling with the small stock tyres at the front. 225 does not match the weight and power of m340i xdrive

So the traction is certainly better but like you, I'm running a stage 2 tune (Mission Performance)....however I am RWD so sprints off the line are a challenge given the power that is being produced. This doesn't bother me because I'm not really about stoplight drags :-)

The setup is square. 255/35/19 front and back. ET in the rear is 25

Hope this helps - let me know if you have any other questions :-)

thank you very much. that helped allready.

i am also not a fan of public road drag races👍
i live in a very rural area with many beautiful curvy roads and the german autobahn with no speed limit and the nurburgring are nearby😉 so i need little bit more than the stock tyres can deliver but want to keep the car as a daily. so i think your setup is a good compromise for me
