Bmw 2023 330i Pops and bangs how ?
What’s up guys I have a 2023 Bmw g20 and I’ve been trying to figure out what I could do so that the car could have loud pops and bangs. I know I’m the Eu all you have to do is a opf delete and you get loud pops but does anyone know what to do in the United States ?

Not sure why you would WANT to do that. IMO it's more annoying than loud exhausts, but to each their own.

I’m covered under warranty so I even was to do anything like that it would void it all the way unless there’s a work around somehow that I’m not aware of. Lowkey sometimes wish I bought a pre Lci but I’m trying to make this car sound better than it already does.

No I know that what I’m saying is if something goes wrong with the car they’re just going to blame it on what I did to it.

in the pre LCI all you have to do is put in sport plus, sport transmission, and drive it like a maniac for about an hour (drive in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear and make sure the gas pedal is to the floor and max throttle until redline before shifting). after an hour it will bang in sport plus, sport transmission. |

Yeah, I’m kinda retarded. After I sent that I realized you could’ve just had a 2020, but didn’t care enough to say something, my bad.

Upon further review, it appears there are quite a few of you that DO want this. Is it just a racer/race track thing to bring to the street? Is there any actual performance value? Genuinely curious now

There is no performance gain, in some cases it actually means less power, but it just kind adds to the driving experience so a lot of people, including myself, like it. BMW for whatever reason just decided to stop having the cars burble and pop after 2020.

There are 0 pops/ bangs in the 23 model. Only way to add them is with an ECU tune.
Heres a link of mine with GTS burble setting on Stage 2 93oct https://youtube.com/shorts/_5FDINnXdhk?feature=share |

Hearing multiple videos of both the newer and older models, I strongly prefer the newer ones as long as they have the MPE. The pops and bangs are so overdone in the 2020s, just seems tacky in my opinion.
