Any pics of this in the engine bay with your intake and strut bars?

Also, I'm trying to figure out how the BMW logo secures to this cover? I don't see the four slots for it to click in?

Unfortunately no I don't have any installed pics. By the time production came in we had already traded in our lone B46 BMW in to start on other projects. Engine bay will look largely the same as the B58 though (below) -- just with a bit more open space in that front corner where the intake resonator was and the painted section just straight carbon. Should have some customer photos in the near term though. I know of a handful of guys that were waiting on this that have ordered them.

As far as the roundel goes -- the 4 slots are there to transfer over the roundel.

Mine shipped already and I have the Dinan intake and strut bars so you’ll get a look soon.

As promised, here’s the engine cover paired with intake and strut bars. You can see for yourself what a gorgeous combo they are.

Word of caution: I had to transfer over the rubber grommets from the OEM cover, they are much more pliable than the grommets that Dinan includes. I actually snapped one of the mounts off in my hand trying to push the supplied grommet in. The OEM ones snapped in much easier.

Installed mine today! I noticed the cover gets VERY hot; was I supposed to somehow transfer the heat dampening material from the old cover? Just don't want the new cover to melt!

I transferred over the insulation and the rubber grommets from the OEM cover.
