How'd you manage a VIP invite?

I got my M4 on July 2014, after that I got VIP invite to the UDE every year, they usually send me one for NJ then around November send me another invite for Citi field NYC. My friend also leased a M3 in 2017, however he never got such invite. I don't know why.

as someone mentioned above these UDE events are dealer-sponsored, so I’d guess your level of dealer “connectivity” plays some role in who gets invited to which events and at what level. ive purchased 5 CPO bimmers from DC area dealerships over the last 9 years. three of those cars were financed through BMW. I’ve had them serviced through their CPO warranty periods almost exclusively at one specific dealership. they know how much money I’ve spent with them.

I also have all my bimmers — even the older ones — registered on the BMW-NA website / my garage and check the boxes for BMW marketing and events notifications.

im going on 5 years running of getting an invitation to at least one event. the last two were free and really well done.

note that last step (BMW-NA registration) is also one that I had my son do last year with his ‘06 E90. He has never signed a single sales, service, or finance document with BMW, but he did get an invitation this year to the DC-area UDE event.

I had to double check after I saw your post because I’m looking forward to attending the SF one.

The expanded city list is more limited with what’s available. Looks like just autocross in 330i and street drive of the x7.
