3 Series and 4 Series window height
I test drove an M340i two times, and I think it’s the most impressive 3 Series I’ve driven in all aspects. My only concern can sound a bit odd but it’s sort of important. I have a 4 year old and I know that he would easily fit in the back seat. But my issue is the height of the windows. He can barely see outside from the side windows in my 5 series. I wonder if his view would be blocked in a 4 series as the side windows appear to be located higher than the 3 series.

It is unlikely that the window height will be noticeably different between the two models.
Keep in mind that the G26 Gran Coupe won't be available until next year. If you are genuinely considering a two-door, well, that change will be far more disruptive (or at the very least, challenging for awhile) to your family's comfort and convenience than any possible slight change in the windows, IMHO. |

I was hoping M440i GC to come out as 2021 model year at that point. If GC is behind I guess I'll try to extend my lease a little to wait for G26. I seriously think G20 will feel bland and old once we start seeing G22 design on streets.
